Calcium Nitrate (CN)

azotat de calciu CN

Technical specification

The Calcium Nitrate (CN) fertilizer is a highly efficient nitrogen and calcium source, essential for plant growth and soil health. It provides nitrogen in nitrate form (NO₃⁻), which is immediately available for plant uptake, and calcium (Ca²⁺), which improves soil structure and strengthens plant cell walls.

This fertilizer is particularly beneficial for crops with high calcium demand, such as fruits, vegetables, and industrial crops. It prevents physiological disorders caused by calcium deficiency, such as blossom-end rot in tomatoes and tip burn in lettuce.

Calcium Nitrate is water-soluble and highly suitable for fertigation and foliar applications. It ensures quick nutrient absorption, promoting healthy root development and improved resistance to environmental stress.

Storage and Handling:

  • Store in a covered, cool, and dry warehouse.
  • Avoid exposure to moisture and direct sunlight.
  • Available in bulk and packaged forms (600 kg bigbags).

Advantages

  • Provides readily available nitrate nitrogen for rapid plant uptake.
  • Enhances cell wall strength and improves fruit and vegetable quality.
  • Prevents calcium-related deficiencies in crops.
  • Ideal for fertigation, foliar applications, and soil fertilization.

Technical characteristics

It satisfies the requirements of Regulation 2003/2003 relating to mineral fertilizers with high contents of nitrogen.
